The best ice cream shop in Calgary is hands down Village Ice Cream!! They make their ice cream in house and has seasonal rotating flavours. Village does a great job at balancing the sweetness and creaminess of the ice cream (I do not like my desserts too sweet). My TWO favourite flavours are Two Hills Earl Grey and Phil and Sebastian Coffee.
Two Hills is a tea company that selects organic tea leaves and Phil and Sebastian is a local coffee roaster/coffee shop (which happens to be one of my favourite shops as well). At $5 a scoop, it has just the right amount of ice cream to share it with another person.
One flavour combination I thought worked really well together, Two Hills Earl Grey X Strawberry. Give it a try! Sidenote, they do not allow you to choose two different flavours in one scoop anymore.
