Located right after the little bridge entering Inglewood, this 111 years old building is hard to miss. Managed by the same team at River Cafe, Deane House focuses on Canadian sustainable and seasonal cuisine.

What I enjoy most about the restaurant is it's rustic, wood decor; it's a little get-a-way hidden inside the city. River Cafe focuses mainly on Canadian cuisine, using local, sustainable and seasonal ingredients.

The crispy granola and pumpkin seeds played well together with the lamb and charred carrots. A decent and refreshing Spring dish!

ossed in a light vinaigrette, the apple added a decent sweet and sour to the salad. The toasted pumpkin seeds added a nice crunch and flavour to the dish, a refreshing way to start lunch!

Charbar is nestled in the historic Simmons Building (along with Sidewalk Citizen and Phil & Sebastian) and has a rustic feel to the interior.

We wanted to revisit the restaurant as our first time there was very memorable. The restaurant itself isn't big and gives you sort of a home feel, hence the name 'Living Room'.

I went to the Yellow Door Bistro right beside Hotel Arts. The Alice in Wonderland inspired restaurant definitely has an impressive decor (with a yellow door)!

The newly opened Downtownfood was part of the Big Taste Calgary and I thought I had to go and try their menu as I've heard good things about it.

For appetizers, we were served their skillet sausage and salad. The sausage (I'm pretty sure they make and stuff their own) came hot on the skillet and it was really good.

When I arrive at Westin, I saw the Zen-ness and calming interiors and thought why not take pics.
